Countdown to Commencement

May 2010 graduates:

Make plans to attend Countdown to Commencement Monday, April 5, 2010.

Stop by the Cleary Alumni & Friends Center any time between 12-3 p.m. and take care of all your graduation needs. You will have the opportunity to:

• Purchase your cap, gown and tassel.
• Order graduation announcements.
• Receive commencement day information.
• Join the Alumni Association at a discounted rate and receive your first official alumni apparel with your new membership.
• Receive job search information from Career Services.  
• Register to win prizes!

The Financial Aid office will be hosting a special presentation during Countdown to Commencement from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Cleary Alumni & Friends Center called: “Student Loan Repayment: Everything You Need to Know” presented by Ben Dobner with Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation.

You will learn how to keep track of your loans, how to choose a repayment plan that fits within your budget, the pros and cons of consolidating federal student loans, and who to contact for assistance when you need it.
